Events/Results - Triathlon

TeamMK came out in force on Sunday 26^th August to race either the Bedford Classic or Bedford Mini events. It was a lovely sunny day, although the river was its usual freezing self and there was a headwind back in on the bike.

 

First male was Steve ‘the wheel’ Harrison in 1:59 and first female was Michelle Lee in 2:10. Mark Booth was first for TeamMK in 2:08 (9^th place overall) and 1st in his age group. Trevor Hook (2^nd in age group) and Lee Goodman were neck and neck in 45^th place in 2:19:20 and 46^th place in 2:19:55, respectively. Mark Church followed in 2:29, Andy Jones in 2:32, Marcus Whelband in 2:33, Viv Cox in 2:35, Chris Herman in 2:44 and Jason Lee in 2:50.

 

In the Mini Tri (200k/15k/3.5k) Al Nesbitt came in 5^th overall in 46:25, with Colin Bradley in 9th position (47:30) followed by Michelle Gander in 56:24 and Anne-Marie Chaffer in 1:01.
