The last of the Saturday morning TTs until the Autumn on the F5u/10 Stony- Nash RAB course. It is actually 11.4m. We now use this longer course for our evening TTs satrt/end from the 30mph sign in Stony.

The Saturday Road rides cater for all levels and meet outside the Passage to India restaurant on Stony Stratford High Street at 09:30 throughout the year. The rides usually split into 2 or 3 ability groups and cover about 40-60 miles with an optional cafe stop on the way home.

The 2rd Big Cow Duathlon hosts the National Champiionships and moves from the Bowl to Emberton where the best amateurs in the country and plenty of others will do battle.
Distances are : 10km run/40km bike/10km run

The Bowl will be open for training from 18:00 to 20:00 every Tuesday, lights and a helmet are compulsory.
********************************************************************** The session starts at 19:25 with a warm up beside the Stantonbury campus 25m pool. We then jump in at 19:30. There are 6 lanes of graded ability. Club coach Mark Booth is normally available to coach from the side. In his absence club Triathlon rep Robin Dowswell sets the session.

There will be a 10 minute ride up to Little Linford and then 3 hard brick efforts. Each brick consists of 1 lap of the Hanslope 10mile TT course followed by an out and back 3 mile run towards Haversham. There will be a 10 minute warm down ride back to Body Limits.

Today's training is a rest from the previous days hard efforts. It is a 2 hour bike ride followed by a 30 minute easy run. There will be some cake and tea at Boothy's to follow so please let him know if you intend to come by calling 01908 615045.

This is a 2hr+ steady endurance run. For Ironman competitors it should be run at around target race pace.

The events run from April 15th to the start of the school holidays in July and are split into 3 types of race with a different type each week .... Road Race, Mountain Bike Race and Time Trial + Skills test.
We are always welcome to ride their Evening Club Time Trials - £2 non members. They rotate on 3 courses but 2 of them (Astwood and A4146) are not ones which we use, except the Astwood one for our Open 20 on 19 April.

18th April - the beginnning of a "steady" 3rd group, this week led by Claire Yearby. Ideal for beginners and those who want a social ride with some possible instruction on group riding, mechanical tips etc.

The Beds RC event lived up to its billing as a Slow event in the bustery and cool conditions, but two 4th places for Ian Marshall & Mark Simmons.
In the 'Penny Farthing Gear' event Jason was 2nd in a time of [classified information] with Ian Marshall 4th.

A relatively local sportive 54 miles away starting in Oakham, Rutland LE15 6NU. Either a new event this year or at most 2nd running. Personally l have not done this event. Sportives are rarely run on a Sat so leaving Sunday clear to ride a TT or another Sportive - choice of 2 tomorrow but one I'm riding (WHC) is sold out.

Last time a checked this was sold out, but we secured our entry a while ago having missed out in 2008, so you might want to make a note for 2010, or see if any have become free - or you can ride the Sunday Sportive one from Princes Risborough which is closer to MK.

Rode this event last year after riding a NBRC 10 first thing and made someone's day by giving them a spare tyre as they had had one slashed at a petrol station when it was handing on the back of their bike.
