The Bala Triathlon is set in the lakeside town of Bala in beautiful North Wales. The setting is excellent with plenty of space for transition and parking at the Leisure Centre on the shore of the lake.

Open water swim training takes place at Haversham lakes. Typically between 20-30 people turn up between 6 and 8am. People generally swim 1 or 2 laps of 1500m, although short loops are available for those getting used to open water or wanting to do short faster reps.
The weekly Tuesday evening run session from Body Limits starts at 19:00. Please park in the car parks in Newport rather than the nearby residential roads as residents have been complaining.

The idea of these races is to be the first steps into Cycle racing, and all levels of ability are welcome.

Cost £2 adults, £1 kids. Please place your money in the box by the whiteboard at the side of the pool when you go in after changing.

National Youth Series Circuit Race at the Bowl is organised by TMK.
A very popular Olympic distance race featuring a rolling bike course and a flat 10k run across the Rutland water dam.

We have 5 people currently entered in the Olympic distance event. This is local and there is a popular sprint distance event as well as the olympic distance.
The events are held at Grendon Lakes, just south east of Northampton.

A new Sportive event in 2010 called the Specialized Silverstone Sportive. The multi choice distance challenge will be held at the Porsche Experience Centre and will start from the exclusive Porsche tracks next to Silverstone Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit on July 4th, 2010.
The third running of the Ride to the Horns Sportive from The Stag in Mentmore where we recently celebrated the Club's 30th Anniversary with the guest speaker being F1 - Mark Weber - and a great publicity photo.
I think that you will be able to tell from the publicity shot which local sportive you should be supporting on 4th July!
