Brickhills Challenge (Rescheduled)

After the cancellation of the Brickhills Challenge sportive in Feb, due to heavy snow, we will be running the event on the 10th OCT 2010.

The route will be the same, 85km approx, start time will be from 09.00.

On line entry through Race Timing Systems is £6.00. Entry on the Day will be £10.00.

Targets are the club tandem rec of of 19-15 and the VTTA age record of 18-45

Might be the last event on this version of the course because of planning traffic lights.

Steve Torley and Richard Ashton are riding this event up in the Lake District and then running the Keswick 1/2 Marathon on the Sunday. We're becoming a well travelled club.

It's off to the ski slopes of Wales for the popular Ogmore Valley event for Helen Boatman #50. It's become a new TMK favourite if you like that sort of thing, but you need to cover these events in the WBAR competition. Be there or be nowhere if it is a good day.

We are promoting a full programme of youth circuit races at the Bowl this Saturday in place of the Team Keyne training session. The racing follows on from the N Bucks RC races in the morning and the youth races start at 2:30pm.

British University Championship

Luke Clarke, who is at Loughborough University, is one of the top seeds (110) in the BUC event organised by Cambridge University.

Matt Passenger, who rode for us last year, is also down to ride.

Been a few years since I rode one of those, in the old Skool days.
