NMHDA 100m TT - Steve Torley 5th in 100m debut

Your French correspondence reports that Steve Torley was a very creditable 5th position in his debut at 100m time trial with an impressive 4-06-25. He rode an very evenly placed race, covering the first 50m in 2-03-18 so he speeded up by 11 seconds over the second half. a windy day by all accounts especially on the A421 circuit.

Tables from your Spanish correspondence and the campsite wi-fi.

Along with Claire's new membership list this means some new TMK names (correctly spelt) pick up points. Rob starts dropping points in the TMK league and a couple of regulars face that in the future.

Having compared my version of the results with what Ian posted there were more 2-ups than I deduced!

Big Cow Sprint number 2

There was a big turnout of about 15 TeamMK competitors for the 2nd Sprint at Emberton Park on the same day that the Cowman was held. Our first finisher was Scott Wiseman in 3rd following home the Body Limits sponsored athlete Ritchie Nichols in 2nd place. The race was won by Mark Threlfall.

A long slow boat journey has given me time to update things, and upload via a satelitte link.

Marshalling points are outstanding and when I have confirmation that Laura & Mike have signed up then they will get points. Also some reallocation between the two Chris Smiths.

NBRC 20m Club TT - Tandem sets course record

Kevin Stokes & Geoff Perry set a course record for 2 laps around Astwood last night, on the tandem.

It didn't seem a fast night as it was a bit windy but the pair knocked 6 seconds off the time set by Kevin & Ian Marshall, to set a new best of 43-42.

Rob Chaudy was pleased with his ride and a few other from TMK rode - Clive F, Mark K and John B.

Cowman - Steve Torley fastest from TMK in 29th

About 20 TeamMK triathletes lined up for the 1/2 Ironman type event known as the Cowman. Wet in the water, windy out of it.

Corinium CC 25m TT - Ian Marshall 13th with a 54

Ian Marshalled posted his fastest time in the last 3 years (LTS) when he rode on the U46B/25 last Saturday afternoon.

This secured him 13th overall and improved 5 sec over his previous best on this course.

Whitewebbs CC 10m TT - Clarke brothers do '19's for 3rd & 4th

Luke Clarke was 3rd in the Whitewebbs CC 10m time trial with 19-37, beating his brother Ross, who lent him his solid disk wheel, by only 2 seconds. Hopefully he will share his winnings. Simon Cannings recorded 20-18 to help the trio set a TMK team 10m rec as we've never (?) had 2 riders in the 19s in the same open event.
