Lands End to John O Groats fundraiser for Willen Hospice

Many of you will have heard that several intrepid TMKers are riding from Lands End to John o' Groats in aid of Willen Hospice.

Phil Murphy, Ian Marshall, Claire Yearby, Richard Harrison and Gareth George will be doing the route in 12 days via MK to coincide with the start of stage 2 of the Tour of Britain on Mon 8th Sept.

The composite pairing of North Bucks RC's Kevin Stokes and TMK's Ian Marshall have been out and about again on the roads in the locality. In the recent API open 25m TT on the super fast E2/25 course near Newmarket, the pair had to contend with a very strong head/cross wind, the result being 30 minutes dead to the turn!!!

If you look at the menu bar you will see that the 'About' item has now been renamed to 'Resources' as a bunch of stuff was getting stuck under it none of which was really about Team MK.

Dave Brown returning home to Australia

Vice Chair Clive Faine reports that Dave Brown, one of the club’s exceptional duathletes, is returning home to Australia after a lengthy spell of residency here in Milton Keynes.

Fred Edwards

As many of you have heard, Fred Edwards has had a serious mountain biking accident in the Alps and is presently in hospital in Grenoble. Although Fred is making a good recovery it is not yet known when he will be well enough to come home or resume his normal activities.
