London Tri places available

I’m contacting you on behalf of Spinal Injuries Association, a Milton Keynes-based national charity providing life-long support to people paralysed through spinal cord injury.

A user-led organisation, we strive to deliver a proactive and broad range of services all with the express intention of demonstrating that our core ethos that life needn’t stop when you’re paralysed.

As with most charities, we have a number of places available in all of the major UK running events and the Marathon World Majors. As part of our UK events portfolio this year, we have several places available in the London Triathlon. Unfortunately, an extremely high drop-out rate has led to us having several untaken places just a few weeks prior to the closing date.

While I understand that most of your members are probably ‘serious’ triathletes and duathletes, I’d be extremely grateful if they’d still consider supporting SIA in the event. In addition, if members know anyone who’s just starting out in tri events and would perhaps like to use the London Tri as an inaugural competition, we’d be delighted to hear from them.
