Southern Area XC Champs

Southern Area XC Champs 2008, Chawton Park, Alton, Hampshire, 06/07/08 

Team MK riders Richard Wood and Niall Frost travelled down to Alton to contest the Southern Area Cross Country Championships last Sunday.

After a morning of torrential rain the course had transformed itself into a slick, muddy ‘challenge’.

Rich, riding in the Masters category, made light of the conditions to record a convincing win over the rest of the field, earning himself the title of Southern Area Masters XC Champion 2008.

Naill rode strongly in the Sport category to finish in 2^nd place less than a minute down on the winner.
