Running Training Information

Club running sessions are held on Tuesdays. Other running may take place during "bike/run" training.

Tuesday Sessions

Venue: Body Limits gymnasium in Newport Pagnell

Parking: Please use the roads near the gym for parking if the clinic is busy.

Standard: Caters for all abilities. The more there are, the easier to form groups of the appropriate standard. Sessions are structured to see a progression enabling peak performances to occur during the triathlon season.

Day/Time: Start at Tuesdays / 19:00

Season

Typical sessions

Winter Starts off with steady runs and gradually increases in distance with the introduction of intervals before xmas.
Spring Interval sets on the redways. Normally determined by duration of interval. i.e. (5mins hard, 2 mins easy) repeated 4 times.
Summer

In the past a track at the former Japanese school has been used for specific distances such as 8*400m.

Alternatives: TMK members who are also members of Marshall Milton Keynes athletics club can use the tartan track at Stantonbury. MMKAC meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting between 18:15 and 19:00 depending on which group you join.
