Introduction

Triathletes from TeamMK compete in competitions ranging from local "Big Cow" events to international events such as the World Championships and the Hawaii Ironman. All standards are catered for, from beginners to those trying to reach the top of the podium in elite races.

History

The first triathlon club in Milton Keynes was formed in the 80's with many members based around Newport Pagnell. In the 90's the club merged with the MK cycling club and by 2001 had become TeamMK - a club with a handful of star performers and a solid core of regular competitors that give the club a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Aims 2010

In 2010 we will again have loads of teams out for the sprint distance National Relays on 21st August (500m/15k/5k). Also watch out for the 1/2 ironman type events at Cowman and Belvoir where we will have plenty of competitors. At Olympic distance we could see quite a few up for the Dambuster and many of the local sprints will be well attended this year.
