Off Road

Team Milton Keynes members regularly participate in the Central Cyclocross League, with races scheduled from the beginning of September through to January. The league covers the area from North West London through to Northampton, so races are rarely more than 1 hours’ drive away.

The club has a number of experienced coaches that can assist in improving the ability of riders; from those new to riding off road, through to riders who compete at national level. In addition to the coaching provided to the under 16s on a Saturday afternoon, there is usually coaching 1 evening a week between September to November. This session is designed to suitable for experienced and novice adults, and older children and focuses on a combination of development of techniques and simulating race conditions.

Through membership of Team Milton Keynes, club members are permitted to ride throughout Aspley Woods and Rushmere Park.

Aspley Woods covers a large undulating area between Woburn Sands, Aspley Guise, and Bow Brickhill the land is owned by Bedford Estates, with access managed by The Greensands Trust. The woods include a number of permissive paths for horse riders and cyclists, public and other footpaths and bridleways.
